Benefits Of Playing Sports.


We all know that sport is extremely important in a country where we can go and enjoy sports. But, not many of us have ever thought about the benefits of sports to the physical and mental health of an individual. The main reason why sports is so good for you and your body is that it helps strengthen muscles and joints, increases stamina and overall body strength, improves concentration levels, builds endurance levels, decreases fatigue levels and overall body. When you play sports, the amount of muscle you’ll build each week will keep adding up over time. This adds on as well since you get exercise and burn off calories while playing sports regularly because all this muscle mass comes with a huge risk of injury. Some of the best ways people try to avoid injury are by going to the gym but what many people don't understand is that playing sports is also great at giving you back these same muscles and joints that are torn or broken. Some of the great things about sports are that they allow you to work up endurance levels which is one of the most important reasons that people decide to play sports. Another thing that makes playing sports such a great way to spend an afternoon or evening is that they are very convenient. A lot of people who enjoy playing sports want to get out there and play games and have fun. Getting outside and spending time with friends just like playing sports lets you do both. It lets you see what other activities look like. These are two big reasons why playing sports is still so appealing to many people. People need to start playing sports if they really wanna change their lives, whether that be mentally or physically. It lets them know that they can improve their life goals, and let them know they can play anything that comes their way, which can change their lives forever for good.

One of the other benefits of sports is that it teaches humility in the sense that when you play sports you learn to set aside your ego and lower yourself down to other people’s level. You start seeing things differently than you are used to seeing them and seeing things in your light. In addition to this, sports make you realize when you need some kind of encouragement or support. If you play sports, you will always see your team winning, even if they lose. Having this type of motivation in life can help boost your confidence levels and make you want to do better which in turn is good for you emotionally as well as physically. Sports is also a great outlet for people who feel lonely because they see their teammates winning and cheering for them and their families. Even if you don’t win, you still have friends that love watching you play. Many times I think about my old baseball coach, Mike Peralta, and what he did for me when I never looked back”. He taught me how to put myself first and appreciate everyone else that surrounds me. Playing sports has allowed me and my family to get a fresh perspective on life. For instance, now I am playing soccer, and I watch the World Cup every year and every game. Being able to watch other countries winning in their respective competitions helps to motivate me to play hard. Since, soccer is a very fast-paced sport, a lot of times my heart pounds and gets pretty tired, but when I watch my team win it makes me want to compete harder. As mentioned earlier, sports teaches humility because you see others that are much smarter than you are and see yourself in them and begin to learn from those around you. Not only do sports teach humility, but it also teaches self-esteem which means having a positive self-concept. Whether it is your character in games, or you just got a new pair of shoes, having good self-esteem is another key benefit of sports.

The biggest plus about sports is that it gives an adrenaline rush. When you get an adrenaline rush out of playing sports, you’re burning off fat and calories. Most athletes don’t take in enough carbohydrates, so their bodies work overtime to provide for themselves while training so they can play. They also end up getting stronger muscles and bones than those who work out a little less. Plus, playing sports means that you are more competitive with other athletes. Competition means you want to beat someone else. You don’t care how good they are, and you want it bad. That is also the reason sports are great for kids too. Parents should give their kids a chance to play sports because sports allow kids to grow up with other children but it also teaches kids that anything is possible if you work hard at it and you go out and be successful. Games taught me the value you have and how precious you are. By being able to make new friends with others who play sports, I’m sure that I’ll never feel alone again. Kids will always find great joy in learning how other kids have been successful and that being active for a day can help increase your chances of success at school. All of this being said I also believe that sports are a great way to stay fit. Staying fit all the time doesn’t happen overnight, but after playing sports regularly you will notice that it gets easier and easier to stay fit.
